Q: Is everything on your website for sale?
A: Yes, unless otherwise noted in the photo caption. My less expensive pieces (Dreaming Home collection) are available on Etsy. Please contact me if interested in other collections.
Q: How should I frame your artwork?
A: Since my work is dimensional, it should be framed without glass or with frame spacers to create a gap between the glass and the artwork. I highly recommend UV-filtering glass (or plexi-glass). If you are framing on your own, be sure to use archival (neutral pH) materials to avoid issues like acid migration over time.
Q: Can you just frame it for me?
A: Due to added cost and logistics, I currently only sell framed art at gallery shows.
Q: How should I care for your artwork?
A: Ideal conditions for artwork are moderate temperatures (65°-75°F), low humidity (40%-55%), and low UV light. Heat and humidity can cause materials to warp and degrade and even encourage mold growth. Harsh lighting conditions will cause colors to change and fade over time. Never hang artwork in direct sunlight or near a strong light source.
Q: Are your materials archival?
A: Yes. I use archival inks, papers, adhesives, etc. If I use an unconventional material, I test it with a pH marker and seal acidic materials before use. I can't foresee how unique materials will age under ideal conditions, but I do my best to anticipate issues.
